Gerry Dudgeon View from Montelparo

I’m running a painting holiday from 19 – 26 June 2021 at the boutique Hotel Leone in Le Marche, Italy owned by Madeline and Tim Jones from England. The hotel is a pre 1500 palazzo, situated in the beautiful hilltop village of Montelparo in the foothills of the Sibillini mountains. It has a pool and a purpose-built artist’s studio and The Sunday Times describes the region of Le Marche thus:

This is one of Italy’s most picturesque, and still “undiscovered” regions, abounding with stunning natural beauty – rolling hills dotted with vineyards, olive trees and pretty hilltop villages with breath-taking mountain ranges. “Like Tuscany without the tourists” (Sunday Times May 2019).

All the details are on this link: so if you’re interested, just click on the “Find out More” button at the foot of the page. I can provide a list of art materials to bring, preferably acrylics, and we’ll be painting on acrylic paper or canvas boards, which are lightweight to transport.

Due to the current situation, guests can book their place but do not have to pay the deposit until 4 months before the course starts.
